Photo and lyrics: Lene. Drawing and digital: Käthe Øien. Translation to Northern-Sámi: S. Skåden.

English lyrics:
rocking, rocking, rocking for Khiam Khiam
who´s sitting there?
It is the Palestinian man
Far away from his own land

Thinking, thinking, thinking about what he´s done
He has been grim
He clung to The Jerusalem
Now his home is lost for him

The project Digtegning is a combination of Käthe Øiens pencil drawings, Lene E Westerås´ lyrics and both their photos. This is merged into a digital design by Øien. The name Digtegning is the artists´ copyright. norr: Digtegning. germ; Digtegning. arab; Digtegning. eng; Digtegning.

In the middle of my project, the 4th of August, Beirut was hit by tragedy. My thoughts are with my Lebanese and Palestinian friends living there.

Kudos to the people of Lebanon for their strenght.
